[Update to previous post about protest and recession]

Sorry for not being more clear about this. I suppose the demands I would make on a protest would be Keynesian solutions to recession and deflation. For instance a green public works program, increases in benefits, increases in the minimum wage etc. I'd also like to see changes that would make jobs more secure. And other things that I'm too tired to think about now!

I'm a bit disappointed to see all the no votes on my last poll about protesting this summer, about the recession. This recession, while horrible, offers those of us on the left a real chance to reshape society and I'm surprised that more people don't think it worthwhile.

It is completely fair enough if you don't have time. I'm disappointed at people on the left who don't think it's worthwhile, not those who don't have time/spoons :).
